Delayed reaction (first portion of this review is from a few months ago at AVO Fall Trail Ride October 2021): What a blast we had this weekend! Thanks everyone for a wonderful, adventurous trip! Firstly a shout out to my peeps @ AVO: Eric, Meg, Josh, Heather, Bobby, and Ethan! Second, A big shout out to Mike and Sarah with Morrison's Outdoor Adventures! You guys rock! Was a fabulous trip. Everyone was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a family oriented group of outdoor & 4x4 enthusiasts. I am so excited to have found such a great group of people to explore with. The beginner trail ride with AVO was a wonderful way to find out what you and your rig are capable of. Windrock Park is amazing! Thanks to the staff at Half Moon Campground for creating the perfect setting and backdrop with super easy access to Windrock. Together we made memories that I am sure for myself and other newbies will last a lifetime. Having grew up in the logging industry I thought I knew a thing or two about off-roading. I am pleased to share that within minutes of accessing the first few trails at Windrock, Mike was quick to teach me a few pointers that were extremely helpful in navigating my 2016 Tacoma TRD Off-road with 6 speed manual trans over the river and through the woods! Keep up the great work guys, I am so looking forward to working and riding with you all many more times. Fast forward a few months: Since writing the first half of this review I have personally joined up with Mike, Sarah and "The Boys" on more adventures. First was the MOA winter trail ride in February 2022 at Windrock Park. What a blast we had! This was my first real chance to see how much of a difference there would be on the trail with a few upgrades over Christmas break. The folks at AVO hooked me up ten fold with the upgrades. The Tacoma now has a 3" Old Man Emu Suspension accompanied by The Big Red Brake Kit from Power Brake, some 33" mud tires and Method 17s with Bead Lock Tech. There were less trucks at this ride due to the 20° temps and few brave enough to tent camp in those conditions. I for one was extremely glad I decided to join because less rigs meant more trails, and more trails meant more instructions and guidance from Mike and Sarah. Again I learned so much from this crew about my gear and my rig and how to protect everything including the environment! We even had a light dusting of snow at Half Moon Campground, which made the perfect backdrop for a hot cup of coffee and a campfire on Sunday morning. Next I found myself at the level one off-roading class in early March 2022 hosted by the Morrison's at Patriot Mountain OHV Park. My buddy brought his 1990 Toyota pickup and had as much fun as me and all the others. We all learned so much regardless of our skill level no one was left to find their own way.. Last but not least I absolutely was not going to miss out on another to chance to get out there with the crew. When I learned that the Morrison's were hosting another class, "Off-Road Recovery" later in March 2022. I promptly signed up. Again this class was at Patriot Mountain. Mike and Sarah and even their oldest son were top notch yet again. The amount of skill and passion for the outdoors and over-landing these folks have and are willing to share with you is unprecedented! Spending a day or even a weekend with them is very refreshing to say the least. I find myself able to completely distance myself from the hustle and bustle of the nine to five world and get out in nature where I feel most alive! Sure there are other ways to get this kind of inner peace and I am one to seek adventures of all kinds. I'll tell you right now folks, this right here is amongst the best of them. So go ahead and take your adventures to the next level! Join the Morrison's on an adventure! You will not regret it! YOLO

Coming from an individual who loves adventure and new thrills, this company went over and beyond my expectations. Spent three days with Mike training and his knowledge and expertise gave me the confidence and reassurance that I needed to hit the open road to explore!

Thanks to what I learned from the classes, this was no big deal. I highly recommend you take the classes. The biggest investment in your vehicle is the loose nut behind the wheel. Thanks again Mike!!

Bought our 4-door Jeep Wrangler JL less than a month ago and decided to get some offroad training. Best decision we made was to book both of us for Morrison's Outdoor Adventures offroad class. It was so much more than we expected. Mike, Sarah and their son Steven were so full of enlightening information. There were 10 vehicles in the course and I could tell each one enjoyed it as much as we did. Both my wife and I drove the course, making it a very memorable day. We could tell right from the start that both Mike and Sarah were professional in their teachings. Wish we'd taken more pictures, yet we're so focused on learning. I can't recommend this off-road course enough. You'll get your money's worth and a whole lot more. Go ahead, make the decision. You'll be glad you did. (Google Review)

My wife and I have no experience off-roading. Mike and Sarah at Morrison’s Outdoor Adventure were amazing. I emailed Sarah to setup a class and she was very accommodating with regard to schedule. Once we arrived at Patriot Mountain Off Road Park we immediately felt at ease. Mike began the class with about 45 minutes of a basic explanation of the important systems of the vehicle and how they pertain to off road driving. Once we got in to apply that knowledge, Mike was an excellent instructor. He was very patient and encouraging. He made both of us confident in the vehicles ability to handle terrain and how to approach it. When showing us the basics of recovery he was diligent with his safety first approach. Mike's philosophy of teaching us how to safely use the equipment to enhance our outdoor experience while protecting ourselves, our vehicle and the environment was even better than I expected. I am looking forward to participating in more activities and hands on experiences that are offered by Morrison Outdoor Adventures.
